We decompile publicly distributed Android and iOS apps and trace their data flows to real endpoints in real countries. We document what we observe, distinguish verified findings from interpretation, and preserve the evidence behind every conclusion. No company can buy a better result — every organisation is held to the same standard, whether it pays us or not. This permanent disclosure ledger puts that principle into practice.
Every app is decompiled at source-code level, not just scanned from outside.

IONITY, the EV-charging network jointly owned by BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz and VW, hardcodes the secret needed to authenticate as the official app, so anyone who extracts it could impersonate IONITY to its entire user account system. The app also starts tracking before you consent and sends your payment and charging-session data to a New York marketing company from the moment you open it. IONITY CISO replied in writing on 2026-08-19, confirming the findings were shared with Security, Privacy and Engineering, some already identified independently and addressed through existing development and review processes, the rest under technical assessment. Re-verified against v2.500.1 (versionCode 2088093427) on 2026-10-17: all four findings confirmed unaddressed — AppClientSecret value unchanged, Firebase key unchanged, both ContentProviders unchanged, Braze unchanged. Full report published 2026-10-17 at rfi-irfos.com/reports/ionity-2026.pdf.
AWS Cognito AppClientSecret hardcoded in res/raw/amplifyconfiguration.json - anyone can compute SECRET_HASH and authenticate as the official IONITY app to the entire Cognito User Pool (eu-central-1). Firebase API key + Storage bucket hardcoded. 2× pre-consent init (Firebase initOrder=100 + ML Kit initOrder=99) + BOOT_COMPLETED. Braze (NY) on payment + charging session data. JV: BMW · Ford · Hyundai · Mercedes-Benz · VW Group. BCC: DSB + BfDI.

this is a useless cookie banner. it's just here to look like one * we don't use cookies, so there's nothing to consent to. don't let anyone tell you otherwise.two buttons, one closes this and throws some confetti. the other literally does nothing.
